  Dave is amazing! We hired him to do the calligraphy on our invitations, place cards and some signage we had on the guest tables. He went above and beyond to customize one of his usual fonts so it worked better with our invitations too. He is very responsive and can work quickly if you are under time restraints. I can't recommend him enough!

  This a late review.....Not sure how I came across Dave but he is awesome. I called him and he just had surgery and by my surprise he still made an appointment with me. I went and drop off my envelopes. He said for the number of envelopes it would take a week or two. He called me the next day with a few questions. A few days after that he sent me a proof. He nailed my project. So we went forward and a few more days my order was ready. Great customer service and great job. I didn't take any pictures of his work because I wanted to get them in the mail. My family and friends love the invites.   ...Thanks again Dave!!!

  I needed my wedding invitations to be addressed last minute and I'm so happy I found Dave. The invitations turned out beautiful and exactly how I wanted them to look - better!   Dave is a master calligrapher and a solid guy, as well. I was a bit disorganized but he worked with me, and got my 100+ wedding envelopes addressed in the most beautiful way. I had originally planned to get calligraphy on a few envelopes for my parents' friends, but they were so beautiful that I ended up getting them all done. High quality, affordable, and reliable. I would argue that the calligraphy *makes* the invite--- Such a special thing to receive in our digital age.

  Dave is a wonderful artist and a great communicator. I came to him with a very unusual job - I asked him to make a poster for a colleague, with various quotes and names inscribed on it. I had had a bad experience with another calligrapher, and came to him with little time to achieve a very labor-intensive job. He responded to my first inquiry almost immediately, went out of his way to meet me for a preliminary discussion, gave me a super reasonable quote, and proceeded to stay in contact with me throughout the process, as well as contribute some of his own wonderful artistic vision to the finished piece. I couldn't be more pleased with the result AND the value.  I recommend him absolutely without hesitation!

  Dave did a beautiful job writing our wedding envelopes. He had them ready in a week, when other calligraphers told us it would take them 2 to 3 weeks, and charged us less than we anticipated.

He took all the changes we made and never complained about them, thanks Dave for a great job on our daughter's wedding invitations!

  Dave recently helped me out with an odd project--a poster-size wedding certificate for my sister's upcoming wedding. He was helpful, easy-going, timely, reasonably priced--and he did beautiful work. The poster could not look better, and he added all these extras that I wouldn't have even thought of myself. He found great paper stock that he didn't charge extra for, and even helped edit the text. Unlike many calligraphers, who can be overly precious about their talents, he was confident in his ability without being in my face or dramatic about. He just got the job done as well as it could be done, and I really appreciate it. Big recommend for any wedding or certificate related calligraphy project.

  Dave recently penned my wedding invitation envelopes, and he did such an amazing job I'm going back with the table cards as well.
I had called around to other calligraphers and found their demeanors to, by and large, be high strung and off-putting; Dave was the complete opposite - easy going with a 'can do' attitude, and competent to boot.

  Dave did our wedding envelopes and they are more incredible then we could ever have imagined!!!! When we saw the final products we knew we had made the right choice. Quill Brothers has so many different calligraphy styles to choose from. We choose this amazing modern font called "Hip" that we have never seen anywhere else, it is absolutely stunning! We are also having Quill Brothers do the rest of our wedding escort cards, etc. If you are looking for calligraphy you HAVE to go to Dave at Quill brothers, the professionalism , creativity and final product speaks for itself. We are beyond excited and can't wait to work with Dave again!!
